The CCNA Voice is intended for someone who wants to learn how to operate Voice Over IP Telephone systems using Cisco Products. This certification falls within their vendor products and focuses on VOIP issues.CCNA stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate. CCNA Voice certification tells employers with voice networks and voice applications that you have the skills required to manage and support them.

Preparing for CCNA Voice certification by studying for the exam gives you working knowledge of a variety of voice technologies.  Once your study at LaSalle is completed you will have been thoroughly exposed to the information needed to operate and troubleshoot these networks with confidence. 

As you become prepared for a career in voice networking you’ll get training on system monitoring and move along with working knowledge of VolP technologies.  Some of these applications are connected to call control, essential in call centers for example, as well as voice mail and messaging solutions found in businesses of all sizes.  This certification also covers mobile applications and devices.

In this course you will learn:

    • Cisco Unified Communications 
      • Describe call signaling and media flows
      • Implications of a VOlP network


    • Provision end users and associated devices:
      • Describe user creation options
      • Enable user features


    • Configure voice messaging and presence:
  • How to create or modify user accounts for Cisco Unity Connection
  • Describe Cisco Unified Presence


  • Provide end user support
  • Verify PSTN connectivity
  • Define fault domains using information gathered from end user
