MCTS SQL Server 2005 - 1 exam - Microsoft Certified Technology Specialists in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (MCTS: SQL Server 2005) implement and maintain databases using specific instructions and specifications. They have thorough knowledge of the product, understand how to use the tools and Transact-SQL language, and know how to explore the user interface.
The MCTS SQL Server 2005 class is instructor-led and hands-on. Classes are held at LaSalle's Tampa, Florida location. To earn the MCTS SQL Server 2005 designation you must pass exam 70-431. This class prepares you with the skills you need to work with SQL Server 2005 and to pass the exam. In this class students learn how to use the tools of SQL Server 2005, UI navigation, how to write code in the appropriate language (Transact-SQL, CLR language, and other scripting languages), Code debugging or syntactic issue resolution, and much more.

This certification demonstrates that you can keep up with your enterprise business solutions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Job roles of those pursuing this certification generally include: Database administrators who install or configure Microsoft SQL Server and manage or maintain databases or multidimensional databases, user accounts, database availability, recovery, and reporting. They also design or implement security or server automation and monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server activity. Database administrators are typically employed by mid-size to large organizations.
